Rwandan Singer, Ariel Uwayezu, popularly known as Ariel Wayz has said that she was recently involved in a car accident and managed to escape, though with minor injuries. She shared this via her Instagram page on Sunday, October 2.

As Ariel and three other passengers were traveling to Gisenyi, Rubavu on Saturday, the car lost direction and clashed with another in an accident that could have killed them all.

"It was on Saturday morning, we were on our way to Gisenyi for a video shoot of my new song, that's when we met a car on Saturday, and we collided with it, lost the direction and fell across the road. The police immediately came to our rescue,” Wayz said.

She added: "They took us in the ambulance to the Remera Hospital but after realizing that they were taking their time to help us I called my brother and he came and took us to another private hospital for a better treatment.”

Ariel Wayz who recently released her second EP said that she is getting better and she hopes to be fully recovered in a short period of time.
