Former Urban Boys member Safi Madiba Niyibikora seems to be determined to grow his solo career a few months after leaving the Rwandan musical group.

The singer has in a short period released his third song titled, Fine, featuring Tanzania sensation and award winning artiste Rayvanny.

Rayvanny is signed to WCB Record that is under Diamond Platinum’s management.

The song was uploaded on Youtube on January 20 by Rayvanny and by press time it had already garnered 178, 000 views.

The video was shot and directed by Extrafocus in Tanzania and directed by Eris Mzava. The audio was produced in Wasafi Studios. It is mainly in Kinyarwanda, Swahili and English.

In some parts, Rayvanny, real name Raymond Shaban Mwakyusa, is heard singing in Kinyarwanda.

It is Safi’s third solo project after quitting Urban Boys in November last year.

Shortly after parting ways with Urban Boys, he released Got it, featuring U.S-based Rwandan singer Meddy, and then Kimwe Kimwe.

There was confusion, however, when Safi uploaded the song on his own Youtube channel and the video platform blocked it because Rayvanny had copyrighted it, but Safi explained that there was a mix-up. He admitted it had earlier been agreed that the Tanzanian singer would be the one to upload it.

The singer also announced that he is signed under new label The Mane.
