Renowned Tanzanian musician and dancer Harmonize, (pictured), will soon headline two concerts in Rwanda.

The concerts are aimed at launching a newly established record label, The Mane. The first concert will be held in Musanze District on March 23, and the second in Kigali on March 24.

Ramadhan Mupenda, the founder of the record label, said the concerts are part of plans to unveil its new artistes, who are signed under its label since its establishment seven months ago.

The artistes include Marina, famous for her hit track, Like that, and Safi Madiba Niyibikora, former Urban Boys member.

"The concert will unveil our new artistes to the public, and inform them of our vision as a label, which includes promoting Rwandan music to the international market. Safi will also perform for the first time since he left Urban Boys while Marina will also perform her new songs,” he said.

He added that part of the label’s vision is to bring international artistes to perform in the country and organise album launches for their artistes.

Who is Harmonize?

Born Rajab Abdul Kahali, on March 15, 1994 in Mtwara, Tanzania, Harmonize started his career in 2011. However, his first recordings did not hit.

In 2015, Harmonize was signed to Diamond Platnumz’s Africa WCB Wasafi Record. He was nominated for the AFRIMMA AWARD 2016 Nominees under the category Best Newcomer. He was also included in MTV Base’s "Ones to Watch for 2017” in Africa.

Currently, Harmonize is arguably one of Tanzania’s most talented artistes. Some of his famous songs include Bado, Matatizo, Shulala, Show Me, Happy Birthday and Sina.
