Rayon Sports sign Ugandan Mugume for three years

Azam Rwanda Premier League Champions, Rayon Sports have completed the signing of Uganda forward Yassin Mugume on a three-year deal from Ugandan premier league side, Police FC, Times Sport has learnt.

Azam Rwanda Premier League Champions, Rayon Sports have completed the signing of Uganda forward Yassin Mugume on a three-year deal from Ugandan premier league side, Police FC, Times Sport has learnt.

The 24-year-old international has an option of extending the contract when it expires at the end of the Azam Rwanda Premier League and Peace Cup.

In total Rayon Sports paid Rwf 6m with Police taking Rwf2.5 while Mugume pocketed Rwf3.5m.  The player will earn Rwf 400,000 per month.

Rayon Sports is also in the final stages of bringing on board, Nigerian midfielder Saddam Yusuf.

Rayon signed Cameroonian international striker, Christ Mbondi on a one year deal. The player is out of contract with Deportivo Capiatá in Paraguay. The 25-year-old played for FC Bamenda Academy, FC Sion II, Bangkok Glass, Khonkaen F.C and JS Saoura.

Head Coach, Olivier Karekezi’s team has also confirmed the signing of APR player, Djamal Mwiseneza, Innocent Twagirayezu who is free agent from Mukura and Abouba Bashunga from Musanze.

Last week, they signed Shaban Hussein ‘Tchabalala’ from Amagaju FC.

Meanwhile Rayon Sports will today play a warm up game against Etincelles at Kigali Stadium while SC Kiyovu will play against Musanze in the other warm up game.
