Twelve customers have won a range of prizes, including sports bikes and smartphones, in the ongoing Mobisol ‘Nezerwa na Mobisol’ promotion.

Noah Manzi, the Mobisol sales and marketing manager, said the promotion seeks to reward the firm’s loyal customers.

This is the first batch of ‘Nezerwa na Mobisol’ promotion that was launched last November and ends next month.

"Customers have played a big role in our success story. After enjoying the quality of our solar home system, they use their time to explain the benefits of using solar power to friends or neighbours and then refer them to Mobisol,” Manzi said while speaking at the prize hand over function in Kigali.

The ongoing promotion builds on an already existing practice at Mobisol, a local solar energy provider, where customers are rewarded with Rwf10,000 when they recommend a new client.

The firm has connected over 500,000 households countrywide.

How to participate

To participate, Mobisol customers need to recommend at least three new clients and get a chance to win cows, school fees, bicycles, smartphones and solar stereo radios.

Mobisol Head of corporate & government relations, Louis Rwagaju, hands over the bicycle to Jean de Dieu Safari.

There will be two monthly draws and one grand prize draw at the end of the promo to determine the lucky winners of a cow and school fees. The winners of the second monthly draw will be announced by the end of this month, while the grand draw is slated for February.

Louis Rwagaju, the Mobisol head of corporate and government relations, urged other customers to participate, saying that one does not have to wait for a recommendation to "enjoy Mobisol’s environment-friendly energy solutions”.

The official said that potential clients can approach the vendor’s offices and agents across the country to learn more about the products and services they offer, adding that the solar power company provides clean energy at an affordable price.
