After defeating Vision FC 1-0 on Wednesday, unbeaten Sorwathe FC will go into the second division league clash against Aspor on Saturday at Kinihira ground, looking to maintain their winning streak and grip on top spot.

Rulindo district-based Sorwathe FC, lead Pool A with 19 points, one point ahead of Rwamagana City after they defeated Gasabo FC 3-0 in midweek.

Striker Emmanuel Niyitegeka was the hero for Sorwathe on Wednesday, scoring the lone goal of the match at Kinihira ground in the 74th minute.

Sorwathe FC coach Comrade Banamwana has challenged his players to finish the season unbeaten.

"We have been doing well since the start of the season; we are the only side yet to lose a match in the second division league. Our major target this season is promotion to topflight league, that’s why we can’t afford any mistakes, the players know that,” Banamwana said.
