Candidates who sat for primary and lower secondary education (O’level) national exams will today establish whether they stand a chance to advance to the next level of their studies in public schools.

This follows the announcement by the Ministry of Education that they will release results of the two categories for the examinations that were sat for late last year.

The development was announced by the ministry via their twitter handle, saying that the results will be announced in the morning.

A total of 237,181 sat primary leaving examinations last year, a significant increase from the 194,679 who sat the previous year.

For ordinary level, 98,268 candidates sat last year, an eight per cent increase from the 91,492 who had sat the year before.

Out of these, female candidates are 53,618.

Meanwhile, those who sat A’level exams, Technical and Vocational Education and Training exams, as well as Teacher Training Centres (TTC) exams will have to wait a little longer for their results.
