Etoile de l’est FC will be looking to pick up 3 points away to Gitikinyoni FC on Saturday in the second division league Pool A game at Ngoma ground in a bid to keep pressure on leaders Unity SC.

Unity SC, who lead the table with 8 points, one ahead of second-placed Etoile de L’est FC, will also play away to Sorwathe FC who are in fourth place, two points off the pace. Third-placed Pepiniere FC host Rwamagana City (6th).

Last week’s game between Etoile de l’est and Gasabo United FC was postponed, while Gitikinyoni lost to Pepiniere to drop to eighth place with four points from 4 matches.

Etoile de l’est head coach Noah Nsaziyinka disclosed that he has no injuries in his squad, but warned his players against any complacency.

"We want to win this Saturday and improve our points, and if Unity slip up, we have a chance to go top of the table,” said Nsaziyinka.

Thierry Nzayisenga, the head coach of Gitikinyoni FC said, "We are not in a good position on the table so winning the game on Saturday is very important.”
