Kigali Marriott Hotel rewards customers

Kigali Marriott Hotel loyal customers were last week treated to sumptuous meals and drinks as part of Marriott’s Global Customer Appreciation Week 2017.

Kigali Marriott Hotel loyal customers were last week treated to sumptuous meals and drinks as part of Marriott’s Global Customer Appreciation Week 2017. Held under the theme, "Unrivalled Experiences Made Together” the grand cocktail reception showcased food from around the world and gave customers a chance to experience different tastes as they interacted with the staff of hotel.

The Kigali facility is part of Marriott International, a hotel chain with presence in 120 countries globally. Kigali Marriott Hotel opened its doors to patrons in October, 2016.

Addressing customers during the event, Rex A.G. Nijhof, the Kigali Marriott general manager, assured them of continued excellent services from the hotel. He added that the hotel chain supports efforts that seek to prop up Rwanda’s economy. Nijhof said the celebrations were also part of the hotel’s social corporate responsibility to give back to customers. According to Pablo Alonso, the Kigali Marriott director of sales and marketing, similar events have taken place in over 6,000 of Marriott’s properties around the world. Customers win big

Meanwhile, the five-star hotel rewarded lucky customers with prizes, including a Kenya Airways return air ticket to Nairobi, Kenya.

Vivian Umubyeyi, the return ticket winner, said it is important for companies to give back to community.

"In addition, celebrating with customers is an opportunity for companies to understand their needs and get feedback, which is critical if they are to operate as profitable firms,” she noted.

Ernest Chirwa won a fully-paid night at Marriott Kigali. He hailed the hotel for providing jobs to Rwandans.
