Refer to the story, "Employment services body unveils Rwf500m for university graduates’ agribusiness projects (The New Times, October 24, 2017). Refreshing approach here in promoting investments in agriculture. We do not need to wait for them to graduate.

There is need to start from upstream and track students who apply knowledge from other disciplines in agriculture early enough. This can be tracked from essays and term papers/projects and research projects whether in Maths, ICTs, Geography, Physics or Engineering or Chemistry. Who is that you chemist who will produce ethylene for storing ripe sweet bananas for over a year?
