Talk about what you’re not

Sure of then bring delusion

And confusion into people’s Mind and trust, It might give

Birth of a life that hunts and

Hurts another life.

Slap my right cheek then

I turn the other one,

Disrespect me from toes to

Head, spit in my face then

Let cursing words slip out of

Your mouth and respond

With rage, I try to seal

The pain inside me with a

False smile and pretence;

You forget that life itself is a

Trend and depending on how

You treat me, there springs

A life that contradicts your

Potentials and existential

Provide me with what

Satisfies my tummy and hide

From me what nurtures my

Mind and soul then;

Tell me how much you love me,

How you’ll never leave me alone

How you’ll always remember me

I’ll give you a glimpse of what I see

You want me to live a life

Of opening my mouth and getting fed What a dark curtain

Unfolded in front of my sight,

This is a life that ends my life

I don’t want to live this kind of way

I just want to carry my own weight

On my back and know how to

Survive on my own.
