I see the birth of a nation

Men, women and their offspring

Striving and fighting for freedom in different parts of my continent

We are the people for the people

We are the new generation, seeking what was hidden from us with an intention to plant a seed that will bear fruits of peace

Free from divisionism and discrimination of the human kind.

Dark Continent is how they refer to my motherland;

Yes I’m proud to be a part of it that’s why depending on my mental state, my mouth is wide open to speak because black is emotional and beautiful.

Mines full of treasures benefit the invaders yet a mother and child in the refugee camp are starving to death.

When will my people be extricated from this bondage and perhaps be mentally free to speak?

I see my brothers and sisters replacing love with hate but they forget that love is the foundation, the only bridge that can lead us to the union and the unity we all crave for

I feel relieved and grateful whenever I’m talking to my children and fellows because they feel how I feel

They know what peace means and what a better Africa acquires and requires from us.

Africa is me and you

You who works day and night for its development and welfare.

You who will die for the truth

It’s better to choose and promise not to lose the spirit of love that was given to us as heritage by our ancestors.
