The Pana star arrives in Kigali on Sunday morning to headline the inaugural My250 Concert at the Kigali Conference and Exhibition Village, formerly Camp Kigali.

According to organisers, the My250 Concert will be an annual musical event, whose main aim is to offer up-and-coming Rwandan musicians a platform to perform and interact with more established musicians.

The Nigerian hitmaker’s Kigali gig is part of an East African concert tour that will also see him perform in Kenya and Uganda.

The singer will hold a show in Nairobi, Kenya today, Saturday, before flying to Kigali Sunday morning. After his Kigali performance, the Pana hit maker will head to Kampala, Uganda where he will pair up with fellow Nigerian musician Mr. Eazi in a concert on September 15th.

Other musical acts lined up to perform alongside Tekno include Bruce Melodie, Lillian Mbabazi, the Neptunez band, Sick City Entertainment, and DJs Infinity, Shooter, and the Dream Team DJs.

The 24-year-old singer, songwriter and producer gained wider recognition after scooping the Best New Act accolade at the 2016 MAMA awards. Earlier this year, at the BET awards, he was nominated in the Best International Act Africa category. Some of his other popular songs include; Dance for me, Onye ne ku, Leg over, and Skin tight. Tickets for the concert go for Rwf10,000 for ordinary, Rwf15,000 for VIP, while a table of eight will go for Rwf 320,000.
