RE: "Rwanda gets new Cabinet, who is in?” (The New Times, August 31).

The new Cabinet is an endorsement of a winning team. If you appreciate the leader, then you appreciate the entire team.

When Rwandans voted for continuity and in the spirit that Government works in a team, the Head of State signalled that a winning team does not change. However, a few strategic positions needed new energy to maintain the pressure on the national targets.

So whatever changes were made, they come in the spirit of boosting the team, giving chances to new players. Strategic leadership at its best.  Congratulations to the new Cabinet and wishing them all success on the job.
