Tecno Spark, the latest version of the TECNO Mobile brand, has hit the Rwandan market. The sleek model of the Tecno Spark Mobile series has new age and features that meet tastes of modern users, including a highly sensitive camera and big processing unit.

Aimable Ngendahayo, the country manager of Tecno Mobile Rwanda, said the new version is affordable and of high quality.

"Tecno Spark mobile matches customer demand to have ‘smart’ and affordable mobile phones at their disposal. Therefore, Tecno Spark comes as a solution to serve this need,” he said during the launch of the device on Thursday in Kigali.

Ngendahayo said Spark, like other Tecno versions, boasts of long battery life, allowing users to take pictures, chat, and enjoy any adventure without fear of a sudden shutdown. "It is a phone that I would recommend for a friend,” he added.

Tecno Spark will be coming in series, like Spark Plus and more versions, he said. The gadget is already on sale at all TECNO service centres countrywide and even in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Buyers to win big cash prizes in promo

Meanwhile, Tecno Mobile Rwanda plans to launch a sales promotion, where buyers of Tecno Spark stand a chance to win cash prizes worth Rwf4.5 million. The vendor will hold sales tours in Kigali, Kayonza, Rubavu, Huye and Rusizi districts. Lucky customers standing a chance to walk away with different cash prizes.

"Customers can also buy the device at the Tecno Mobile at the ongoing expo in Gikondo and stand a chance to win a fully-sponsored trip to Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates,” Ngendahayo said.

The winner will be announced on final the day of the trade fair on September 6.

TECNO Spark properties

Tecno Spark is made with a highly sensitivity back camera with 13 mega pixels and a 5P lens provided by Samsung, which will enable users to clear and brighten photos that meet C8 level. It is made with a blue glass filter which is 50 per cent brighter than the normal filter of other phones, which serves to ensure images are sharp and clear.

It also has a 5.5-inch high definition (HD) screen and one can use finger prints to unlock, pick calls and fast-take pictures in any circumstances, ensuring better control and security for the user.

It boasts of 1GB RAM storage capacity and 16GB ROM, as well as 2.3 operating system on the Newest System Android 7.0, and a central processing unit (CPU) of 1.3 GHz quad core, Spark has a multitask application that helps the holder to simultaneously operate the phone’s applications on two separate windows enabling the user to perform multiple tasks, like dialing contacts, reading messages, or view videos at the same time.
