During presidential campaigns, musicians had a significant impact as they entertained people during rallies. And now, R&B singer, Bruce Melody, has released a single called Ntidukina, a song dedicated to Rwandans to celebrate their choice of President.

According to the singer, the song is a remix of his Ikinya track. Melody says that Ntidukina is to congratulate the candidate who will be announced as the next President of Rwanda, and to thank every Rwandan who took part in the voting process.

"I made this song for Rwandans to celebrate with the candidate they voted for. In every election, there is a winner and people have the biggest hand regarding who wins. So, this is a song of victory,” says Melody.

The song highlights how Rwandans have always had the freedom to make the right decisions. It also applauds the current President’s efforts towards making Rwanda a distinctive country by doing what other countries have failed to do.

Remmy Lubega, CEO of RG-Consult Inc and the man behind Ntidukina’s concept, says that the song was created following Melody’s famous song Ikinya.

"Since Ikinya was already a hit song, we thought about turning it around for people of Rwanda to celebrate their decisions. We felt it would be an easier and fun song to dance to as the locals love it already,” says Lubega.

Lubega adds that the Ntidukina video will be out soon. The song was produced by David of Future Records.
