Nemeyimana wins man of the match in URA’s win over Wakiso Giants

Rwandan defender Samuel Kato who formerly played for Bugesera FC won the man of the match in URA FC win over Wakiso Giants.

Central defender Samuel Kato Nemeyimana was outstanding at the back as he put up a man of the match performance helped Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) beat Wakiso Giants 1-0 in the Ugandan Premier League.

Teenager Hakim Sahabo continued his fine exploits for Standard Liege who came from behind to draw 2-2 with RWDM courtesy of a late strike from Italian youth international Kelvin Kwarteng Yeboah.

Elsewhere, Warren Kamanzi, Arthur Gitego were among top Rwandan performers from their respective clubs.

In the French Ligue 1, enterprising right-back Warren Kamanzi replaced Mikkel Desler as Toulouse FC went to Stade Auguste Delaune to beat Stade Reims 3-2 on February 2.

Also in the U19 Championnat, striker Thierry Musabyimana played 78 minutes for Le Havre U19 who lost 1-0 to Mantes in the round of 32 of the Coupe Gambardella.

Belgium

Hakim Sahabo continued his impeccable form for Standard Liege in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League as he played full throttle in their 2-2 draw with RWDM at Edmond Machtens Stadium on Saturday, February 3.

Central midfielder Samuel Marie Gueulette lasted 71 minutes before making way for Theo Cenci as Raal Louvière maintained their second spot on the third tier League table after an emphatic 3-1 win over Hoogstraten at Stade Communal du Tivoli on Sunday.

There was no Salomon Nirisarike once again in the KVK Tienen squad which beat Oud-Hervelee II 2-0.

In the U23 division, Maxime Kali Wenssens was on the bench for Union Saint-Gilloise who lost 2-0 to Binche.

Left-back Hendrick Yves Mutamuliza and goalkeeper Matteo Nkurunziza featured for RWDM U21 who lost 2-1 to Eupen in the Reserve Pro League.

Forward Louange Muhire played for FC Dender U21 who were walloped 4-1 by KV Oostende on Friday.

Netherlands

Noam Emeran was once again an unused substitute for FC Groningen who lost 1-0 to FC Dordrecht in the Dutch Eerste Divisie on Friday, February 2.

Switzerland

Joel Mugisha replaced goal scorer Ebrima Colley in the 63rd minute as Young Boys SC pipped Lausanne 1-0 at Stade de Tuiliere in the Swiss topflight on Saturday, February 3.

Kenya

Striker Arthur Gitego made his official League debut for AFC Leopards as he came on in the 60th minute in their 2-0 win over Karionbangi Sharks on Sunday.

Uganda

Central defender Samuel Nimeyimana Kato was excellent at the back and lasted 90 minutes in URA FC 1-0 win over Wakiso FC. Kato was adjudged man of the match.

Tunisia

Defensive midfielder Bonheur Mugisha is expected to feature for AS Marsa on Tuesday, February 6th when they play as guests to Tataouine at Stade Nejin Khattab.

Saudi Arabia

Defensive midfielder Steve Rubanguka played for Al Nojoom who drew 2-2 with Al Kawkab in match day 21 of the Saudi Arabian second league on Saturday, February 3.
