This month July 2017, Robotics Solutions Ltd celebrated 12 years in business, having opened its doors in Rwanda in 2005 and has since focused on becoming a leading IT and computer hard and soft ware products for retail store customers.

The staff of Robotics Solutions Ltd together with their managers held the 12th anniversary celebrations with children at Gisimba Memorial Center in Nyamirambo.

On arrival at the orphanage, the staff were given a tour of the campus after which they were  entertained with songs and dances by children at the center, followed by  sports competitions where the best were given prizes by Robotics Solutions.

According to Kamal K Dhawal the Managing Director of Robotics Solutions Ltd, "in marking our 12th anniversary, we thought it would be fun and interesting to feature less privileged people like children in an orphanage who, though disadvantaged, may one time in future celebrate years of success themselves.

"The reason why we always celebrate our anniversary is because we started really small back in 2005 and though it was an amazing journey, we had lots of challenges to overcome and indeed we did. The quality of our employees and of their highly skilled work continues to receive very positive feed-back from our customers who highly value our service delivery,” said Kamal.

Robotics Solutions Ltd provides  IT solutions with specialization in hardware in Rwanda with a presence in Congo and Burundi.

If anyone asks Kamal, the MD, why their business has continued to survive and flourish in the last twelve years, his response is, "Just like the Robot, we are about working hard to make our wishes come true…and having a peaceful country and good governance by our president Paul Kagame it was easy to grow our business.”

"I believe it stems from altruistic reasons, As our cooperate social responsibility, we wanted to contribute to this center not only by giving money but by being with the kids and interacting with them in a way of giving hope and sharing with them a vision that mounts to success,” says Kamal.

Still as part of the celebrations, the staff members later had a get together party at Radisson Blue Hotel where they awarded the employee of the year, gave gifts to staff members, shared ideas and later shared drinks and eats.

"We as the staff of Robotics Solutions set ourselves a target of which we have achieved 75 % and we celebrate the fact that we draw inspiration from our businesses,” says Kamal.
