RE: "Karekezi vows to keep Rayon’s winning form” (The New Times, July 29).

Interesting. So, was Olivier Karekezi rehired after being fired even before taking over his duties after being announced as the team’s head coach—all within the head spinning space of a single week?

You will understand why there is never a dull moment following Rwandan football doings – except on the playing field, where the results are usually predictable, at any rate for international competitions!

How come The New Times failed to let us know when and why he was rehired, after being dismissed even before taking charge effectively (you on his initial appointment, then the announcement that the club management had decided against his appointment, but not that they had reversed course once again)!

Now, there is a story of intrigue an aspiring sports journalist should never have missed!
