The Children Times’ Dennis Agaba brings you a compilation of some of the holiday activities that interests children.

There are a number of activities children engage in every holiday. Some of those activities include playing different games and sports, visiting different recreational centres and amusement parks, as well as visiting libraries to read books and use computers, among others.

Children can engage in games and sports such as playing football this holiday. Engaging children in sports is a healthy way to spend the holiday.

Teachers say holiday activities help children to spend their free time in a productive way. They say these activities open their mind to new ideas and enable them to learn new skills.

Children can do revision and engage in other productive activities like reading novels during holidays.

Children, on the other hand, say such activities help them to discover their talents and inner abilities, learning new skills, and make new acquaintances. The photos highlight some of the activities that children are looking forward to engaging in this holiday.

Learning a new skill like how to play a violin is also a good holiday activity.
