Spiderman Game Centre is organising a special kids’ event, dubbed ‘Summer Family Connect.’ The event will be held at Beirut in Kibagabaga on August 12, starting 9a.m till 6p.m.

According to the organiser, Joviah Nkurunziza, the event is aimed at bringing together children and their family members in one place to have fun.

"Most of the time parents are away from their children due to different reasons, including work, so it is necessary that children have moments to be free and play with their parents to recover the lost time with each other,” Nkurunziza said.

She added that, during such time, children are able to grow emotionally, physically as they play, laugh and participate in different activities and games.

Nkurunziza said this serves as a connection and bond moment between parents and their children.

There will be lots of fun activities for the children such as magic dance which includes fire technics, bathing, eating, wearing bottle on knife edge, bob walk, dancing with the stars and movie night. Children will be treated to different games since they will be having access to bouncing castles, trampolines, swimming pool, balls, and balloons. The little ones will also engage in sack race, newspaper game puppet show and treasure hunt.

The attendees will also be entertained by the recent Guma-Guma winners Dream Boys and upcoming artiste Regy Banks.

Children will also participate in a talent show competition where their natural gift will be tested in activities like singing, dancing, modeling, poems, storytelling and arts competition.

Entrance will be Rwf5,000 per kid.
