After a long week, sometimes you need to unwind and have fun. Here are the events happening around town this Friday through Sunday;

Ubumuntu Arts Festival. 

Theater lovers and fans of music and drama rejoice! Theater and performance groups from across the globe are already in Kigali for the third edition of the Ubumuntu Arts Festival. The third edition of the annual festival will take place from today, July 14 to July 15, at the Amphitheatre Kigali Memorial in Gisozi. 

Fragrance of Worship

Fragrance of Worship, in partnership with Groupe Exo from France, Swiss-based Cameroonian gospel musician Olivier Cheuwa, Fortran Bigirimana, from Burundi, and local gospel singer Irene Ingabire Kamanzi (Gaby), are bringing an evening of worship to Christian Life Assembly at a fee of Rwf5,000. It will be happening this Sunday, July 16.

Album launch

Yesu Araje Family Choir will be launching their new album Bundi Bushya at Kacyiru SDA Church on Sunday, starting midday. Entrance is free for all.

Movies

Enjoy the latest movies with family and friends at the Century Cinema Kigali. The movies to look out for this weekend include Outcasts, Everything Everything, Cars 3 and Wonder Woman.

Night clubs

Don’t let boredom take hold of you this weekend; Kigali has a number of night clubs where you can dance your night away. They include O-Zone, The Junction, Masters Lounge, Chillax Lounge, K- Club, Envy Club, People’s Club and Ogopogo, and many more.
