RE: "The situation in the United States can’t be reversed” (The New Times, June 2).

We taxpayers in the USA are tired of subsidizing every "next good thing” the world wants to do – hence the reason I fully support President Trump’s pull out.

You are correct that we have problems in our election system but it’s due to illegal immigrants and the welfare system buying people off in the inner cities.

I feel the US has hit a major "bump in the road” with President Trump’s election. The Democrats are now scrambling to determine why their electoral "lock” failed them so miserably.

It does take large sums of money to run an election, but you have to be presentable as a candidate or you end up losing like Hillary Clinton did and she spent plenty.
