The women national volleyball league will returns today with the Playoffs first leg matches when defending champions Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA) host Ruhango High School at Ecole Belge Gymnasium.

In the other fixture, APR will host St Aloys Rwamagana at Primature courts — the teams will play best of three matches and the winners will face off in final at later this month at Amahoro Indoor Stadium.

Jean de Dieu Masumbuko’s RRA, who are looking to the 6th league title, lead the table with 27 points, three ahead of second-placed APR, while St Aloys Rwamagana are in third place with 19 points and Ruhango fourth with 14 points.

Meanwhile, the men’s Playoffs will be played after the CAVB Zone V Championships, which will be held later this month in Kigali.

Debutants Gisagara lead the table with 34 points, followed with Kirehe VC with 28, while IPRC-South are third on 27 points, two ahead of APR in fourth place.

Defending champions, University of Kibungo (UNIK) failed to qualify for the playoffs after finishing sixth with 16 points.
