In the last few days, Joshua Tuyishime better known by his stage name Jay Polly was hit by a wave of criticism over the video of his new single Too Much.

The video that features Urban Boys, Bruce Melody, Khalfan, Marina and Uncle Austin, features a raunchy display of bikini-clad girls dancing seductively and, it was branded as "horrible and controversial” by many music fans.

This, however, has not deterred the Deux Fois Deux rapper from penning down more tracks. Jay Polly is busy in studio working on his new album called Nta Mpaka, to be launched in August. He has already completed two singles Niyibizi and Too Much.

The album will be the singer’s sixth album after Umwami uganje, Iwacu, Rudasumbwa, Ikosora and Ubuzima Bwanjye.

Last year, Joy Polly’s album launch suffered a major flop due to poor planning. However, the Primus Guma Guma Superstar Season 4 winner has assured his supporters that he has learned where it all went wrong and promised a well organised show this time round.

"This time the album launch preparations have started earlier and everything is going as planned at the moment. I have total confidence that this year’s launch will be great and sponsors are around to make it successful alongside my management,” he said.
