RE: "RNP launches campaign to promote road safety” (The New Times, May 24).

Sometimes noncompliance of traffic rules is due to lack of knowledge of the same rules. Campaigns of this kind are urgently needed to address the issue.

Motorcyclists and pedestrians constitute the largest number of road users and they are the most vulnerable groups as statistics indicate, but, on the other hand, they are the ones that mostly violate traffic rules.
