Police Vs Nyakabanda 10am

Reigning champions Police will be aiming to close the gap on leaders APR at the top of the table when they take on Nyakabanda on Sunday in the weekend’s only handball league match at Kimisagara ground.

Police are second with 30 points, four points behind APR albeit having played two games less, while fourth-placed Nyakabanda will be looking to win and jump to joint second.

Antoine Ntabanganyimana’s Police are bidding for a fourth consecutive league title and they know they must win today’s game to keep pressure on their archrivals APR, who are seeking for the first title since 2009.

"We have had about two weeks of resting and players have refreshed, Nyakabanda is a tough side in the league but our target in every game is to win, we need the title and we can’t afford to lose any game in our remaining fixtures,” said Ntabanganyimana.
