When did you start singing and how many albums and singles have you released?

I started singing at a tender age of 12, when I joined the Church choir. I have so far released one album, 12 gospel singles and more than 26 secular hits.

What kind of music did you listen to when growing up?

Slows and Zouk.

What do you find good about music?

It’s the best weapon against stress and puts a smile on every sad face.

Tells us some of your tracks!

I have many. But the ones that made me famous are: "Komezimihigo”, "Terimbere,” Rwanda I wacu zirakamwa, Nyirimpundu, Inyange, and Bonne Anne”.

Tell us about your love life. Are you in a serious relationship?

(Opens his eyes widely to emphasis the point). I had one, but we later split after realising that she wasn’t the one for me. But I believe God will soon find my ‘rib’.

What is the most extravagant thing you have ever done for love?

I can’t remember any. I hardly spend on a woman, especially when I’m not sure whether she truly loves me.

What kind of woman attracts you?

Any woman with an attractive smile, elegant, medium size and height, and who is God fearing.

She loves you and committed to marry you, but your family doesn’t like her. How do you go about it?

Relationships are between two parties, the lady and the man. I consider the extended families as third parties. If we are both ready to set up a family, I would go ahead and marry her.

What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done for love?

Engaging into a romantic conversation with a beautiful young lady for more than 10 hours. She was too beautiful and elegant that I didn’t imagine setting my eyes off from her.

How about religion, do you consider yourself religious?

Yes I do. I pray at least once a day. I respect and fear God. I’m a Catholic, and go to Church every Sunday.

What do you do in your spare time?

Watching movies and read romantic and novels.

Where do you see yourself in five’s time to come?

Managing a music company.
