Appreciate who you are Open your eyes and see Enlarge your mind encrusted with thoughts and think You have ears to hear, don’t you act like you’re deaf.

Appreciate who you areOpen your eyes and seeEnlarge your mind encrusted with thoughts and thinkYou have ears to hear, don’t you act like you’re deaf.Because if you do so, you will never differentiatebetween what is evil and what is true.

If you open your eyesImmediately you’ll be left with a room in your lifeCall it power to penetrate throughWhat to some people seems to be invisibleAnd from that moment onwardsYou’ll be able to choose what is true and definitely Deny what is wrong.

I always see them changing their skin colour from black to brownFrom brown to white; some when asked why they peel off their black skin colour they respond; We are tired of the colour of our skin.Tell me who addressed you this falsehood messageThat if you bleach your skin is when you’ll look goodI pity you because you don’t even feel bothered to knowwhat the truth is.Please from today onwards take it as noteAnd stop this thing of bleaching your black beautiful skin.

My race, my culture, my background, my customs, my languageThe history of my country, my continent and my consistencyall form up and escort this black skin of you and I.Please call it a treasure, do you know why?Because it is surrounded with beauty that my eyes and your eyes can never measure

Demonstrate it the way you want But always remember that this dark colour of our skin is simply our God’s favour onto our ancestors.

Let us maintain and take care of itInstead of destroying itBrethren let us be proud of who we are.
