Editor,

RE: "Why the Genocide against the Tutsi should stir global conscience” (The New Times, April 12). This is the most complete and powerful article I have seen on the duties that the international community has toward the victims of the Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda. It is so important that the public be informed about the facts of the Genocide against the Tutsi and the strong forces pushing the denial agenda.

I am particularly happy that Dr Andrew Wallis included the pending release of (Genocide architect, Col. Theoneste) Bagosora and the release of (Lt Col Anatole) Nsengiyumva – which, among other decisions, epitomise the failure of the ICTR and Judge Meron and the failure of the legal communities in countries around the world. I hope people will listen. Thank you.
