Pepiniere FC head coach Jean Paul Umuhoza has admitted that his team needs a miracle to survive relegation.

Pepiniere are currently at the bottom of the table with just twelve points in 22 games.  The club has managed two wins, six draws and lost 14.

With eight games remaining to close the season, relegation looks certain and according to Umuhoza who took the team to the top-flight division for the first time in their history, they need a miracle to survive relegation.

"It is a depressing battle that we are fighting; we need to fight harder till the end if we are to avoid a drop,” said Umuhoza

Over the weekend, the club drew goalless with SC Kiyovu at Ruyenzi stadium, and last month they managed to hold reigning Champions APR FC to a 1-all draw at Stade de Kigali.

"We need to win at least five games and pray hard that Gicumbi and Marines lose most of their games,” Umuhoza noted

It is a do or die for the Ruyenzi based side that is remaining with eight fixtures to the season end. The club will face Police, AS Kigali, Gicumbi, Rayon Sport, Bugesera FC, Espoir, Amagaju and Marines.
