Buoyed by their 3-2 triumph over SC Kiyovu on Sunday, Musanze FC head coach Sosthene ‘Lumumba’ Habimana has revealed that his side is now targeting a top four finish in this season’s Azam Rwanda Premier League.

Congolese striker Wai Yeka’s scored twice while former APR left back Francois Hakizimana netted the other goal for the Northern Province-based side. Laurien Habimana scored a brace goals for the visitors.

The win saw Musanze climb to the fifth place with 32 points while Kiyovu remain in the 12th place with 21 points.

"We have been doing well since the start of the season, we are in a good position but we have to keep improving,” Habimana said. "I am happy with my players but we have to keep working hard for the next fixtures.”

He added: "We are not far from our target but we need to keep winning our games. We have a target of finishing in the top four but that means that we must keep working hard until the end of the season.”

This Friday, Musanze will face resurgent Police FC at Kicukiro stadium and a win could see them close the gap on the fourth position to two points.
