Although his songs are in Luganda, one of the major languages in Uganda, the Munakampala hitmaker (Ykee Benda) has made his way onto the Rwandan music scene, with adoration from the local audience.

The singer, real name Wycliffe Tugume, has recorded a collabo with local R&B trio Urban Boys which will be released next week.

The song was recorded in Kigali on Saturday, the day after Ykee Benda performed at the annual Nyama Choma Extravaganza.

The group’s frontman Humble Jizzo said the audio is ready while the video is still in studio.

"Ykee Benda is a real talented artiste, which is why we chose to work with him. It was by coincidence that his management team was also in search of Rwandan artistes to record a song with him, and since he liked our song Adam and Eve, he accepted our proposal,” said Humble.
