The Bible has got a number of scriptures right from the Old Testament that record a variety of ways God revealed himself to humanity, some of which prove that indeed God exists.

Through the words and deeds, we also see that God revealed Himself through many other ways including creation, covenants and promises as well as the history of Israel, God is revealed through His relationship with his people.

In Romans 1:19-20, we see God’s revelation through his creations; that there is only one true God whose authority extends over to all people and nations because he has created everything.

"Since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world, God’s invisible qualities, His eternal power and divine nature have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.”

Psalms 19:1-6, nature continues to reveal to us the being of God that we keep understanding who He is more and more.

"The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them.

"Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun. It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, like a champion rejoicing to run his course. It rises at one end of the heavens and makes its circuit to the other; nothing is deprived of its warmth.”

The Call of Abram in Genesis 12:1-3 also helps us to see that God revealed Himself through covenants and promises to His people.

"The Lord had said to Abram, "Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you. I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”

The promise God declared in Genesis 3:15 is one of the present evidences through which God reveals Himself to his people.

"And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.”

Today man and the snake are enemies in that whenever man and his offspring encounter a snake, they must crush its head just like the snake strikes a human being’s heel.

In the story of Moses and the burning bush, God reveals Himself as the Lord of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

"Then He said, "I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob.” At this, Moses hid his face, because he was afraid to look at God.”

In Exodus 13:21-22, God revealed Himself to Israelites in a pillar of a cloud to guide them and fire for light while in the desert.

"By day the Lord went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel by day or night. Neither the pillar of cloud by day nor the pillar of fire by night left its place in front of the people.”
