RE: "All eyes on Kigali City’s new leadership” (The New Times, February 19)

I was really sad to see former Mayor Monique Mukaruliza go, and our diplomatic corps are very fortunate to have her join their ranks. Some of the best progress and development of Kigali City happened during Mukaruliza’s administration at City Hall. 

Nonetheless, I am quite confident the new Mayor Pascal Nyamulinda will not disappoint us and will continue the great work being done in our City Hall, and take Kigali to even greater heights.
