What’s going on between Lick Lick and Princess Priscillah?

US based Princess Priscillah, a female R&B singer, and Lick Lick, a music producer, are rumored to have got engaged recently, and are currently living together in Ohio.

Priscillah is rumoured to have dated a string of artistes including Mani Martin and King James.

However, she refuted the rumours.

Sources close to the artiste say that she prefers ‘silent’ relationships.

While the US-based songstress continues to refute the claims, sources say that she’s been staying with the producer for a few months now.

The Mbabarira hit-maker went to the US in 2013 for further studies, but continues with her music career.

Are they together? We’ll keep you posted.

Miss Jojo

Is Miss Jojo getting married?

She’s known for songs like Ndinde, Bereterida, Nganirira, Inshuti, Siwezienda, Tukabyine, and Sweet Sweet, among others.

However, Josiane Uwineza, commonly known as Miss Jojo, has been away from the music scene for a while now leaving many wondering what she is up to.

Arguably one of the biggest female artistes in the country, Miss Jojo last made an appearance in 2014 when she released Ibishyimbo and held several performances that year.

Word spinning around is that the singer is now planning a wedding in May.

Rumour has it that she has been in an on/off relationship with Saleh Munyampundu for a while now.

But we are not sure if this is the man she plans to get married to. We will keep you posted.

Mowzey Radio

Did Mowzey Radio see the light?

Ugandan R&B artiste Mowzey Radio, also a member of Good Lyfe Crew may be venturing into Gospel music.

This rumour comes after the release of his debut gospel song dubbed NiweYawhe, a single which is said to have been produced by Eli Arkhis and Benon Mugumbya of Swangz Avenue.

News reaching our desk is that the Neera singer is working on a Gospel album dubbed Kilimanjaro, which will be a solo project.

Reliable sources say Radio has collaborated with Swangz Avenue on this project where he will express his little-known worshipful side.

However, it is not a guarantee that the singer will completely join the Gospel side.

Jaguar

Kenyan musician Jaguar sues the Government

Kenyan musician Jaguar, real name Charles Njagua Kanyi, has sued President Uhuru Kenyatta’s government over its failure to implement drug laws arguing this has contributed to an increase in road carnage.

He now wants the government to be compelled to produce the drug policies. On his hit list is the National Transport and Safety Authority, education ministry, Inspector General of Police and the Attorney General.

The Nimetoka Mbali star also sought an order requiring production of reports on the suitability of gadgets used to detect substance abuse apart from alcohol.

He is concerned with the rise of drug use by drivers and students. It is ironic that the singer, who is a board member of National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA), has decided to sue the state claiming in the court papers that it has failed to come up with drug policies or implement the existing ones, hence the current state of rampant drug use by drivers and students.

In his lawsuit, Jaguar is of the view that accidents can only be controlled if all drivers are screened.

He says that it is imperative that state agencies are compelled to adopt and come up with viable policies to implement and fulfil their mandate with regard to issues of drugs.
