Rwandan tourist attractions exhibited in Tel Aviv

The Embassy of Rwanda in Israel, earlier this week, participated in the International Mediterranean Tourism Market Exhibition 2017 at the Tel Aviv Conventional Centre.

The two-day exhibition, according to a statement from the embassy, saw several tourism services and solutions showcased including; tour operating services, tour planning services, budget tours, packaged tour services and tour related accessories.

The exhibition brought together professionals from the tourism industry across the globe and introduced to visitors new attractions and tourist destinations.

"It was the first time Rwanda had participated in exhibition, and all visitors showed keen interest in visiting the land of a thousand hills,” reads the statement in part.

Other than Rwanda, the exhibition attracted participation from other African countries like Kenya, South Africa, Botswana and Ethiopia.

"It was a good opportunity to showcase to the Israeli public the beauty of Rwanda and her several touristic attractions,” the statement adds.
