Canal+ enters into partnership with MTN Mobile Money

Canal+ has partnered with MTN Rwanda to offer Rwandans a chance to pay subscription to Canal+ with Mobile Money-the service starts with immediate effect. All Canal+ services will be paid for using Mobile money.

Canal+ has partnered with MTN Rwanda to offer Rwandans a chance to pay subscription to Canal+ with Mobile Money—the service starts with immediate effect. All Canal+ services will be paid for using Mobile money.

The development was revealed by Canal+ Sales and and Marketing manager, Emmanuel Niyonshuti while addressing a press briefing at on Thursday at Alink Hotel at Gishushu.

"No more need to travel far or wait impatiently to receive or send money. What you need to do is to register and enjoy the ease and convenience that mobile money offers,” said Niyonshuti.

He added, "Canal+ has been operating for the last 20 years and provides costumers with free satillite dish, profoundly reducing the cost of satellite.”

Alex Karenzi, who is in charge of mobile money cooperate accounts said that, "We chose to partner with Canal+ because they offer good and important service to Rwandans.”

Canal+ has five sports channels. They show the top European leagues including the English Premier League, Spanish La Liga, Frennch Ligue 1 as well as NBA. Canal+ operates in Africa, Asia and Europe with a clientele base of about of 1.5m.
