This milestone achievement is a surprise and beyond my expectations. I never thought we could have it in Rwanda this sooner.

I am so happy and proud of the achievements of the Rwanda National Police. We do now have the Automated Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system and a database that connects other players, including Rwanda Revenue Authority, the National Identification Agency and telecom companies that send instant messages. It’s just wonderful; I am speechless.

I learned about ANPR in my different courses and always wished to have same technology back home and voila that we finally acquired it. Go higher and higher our lovely homeland—I am so proud to be Rwandan.

Since the current IGP took the helm of Police, several extremely good achievements have been made in various fields. I knew and trusted he will make big impacts. Ben
