Former National University of Rwanda (NUR), APR and National team setter, Elie Mutabazi has joined APR volleyball club coaching staff, according to head coach Sammy Mulinge.
Former National University of Rwanda (NUR), APR and National team setter, Elie Mutabazi has joined APR volleyball club coaching staff, according to head coach Sammy Mulinge.
The veteran left hand setter played for different teams including; Christ Roi Nyanza, National University of Rwanda, Umubano Blue Tigers, Sco d’Angers - France and APR.
"I think he will help with his skills, especially for the young players, he was talented player and I believe he will help them. I am happy to work with him,” said Mulinge.
Mutabazi qualified with a FIVB Level 2 coaching budge from France VB Federation, he also has an equivalent to FIVB’s Level 1.
He participated to West Excellence training Center (Sable sur Sarthe - France), he has a certificate on beach volleyball coaching from France.
Mutabazi coached UBT, Rennes (France), Sporting Club de l’Ouest (Sco d’Angers - France), assistant coach at St Joseph de Kabgayi, Gisagara District team and College Christ- Roi.
