Gospel music lovers in Huye district will be in for a rare treat tomorrow, December 11, when Gilgal choir, one of the popular gospel music groups in the country, launches its new album.

Gospel music lovers in Huye district will be in for a rare treat tomorrow, December 11, when Gilgal choir, one of the popular gospel music groups in the country, launches its new album.

The concert will be held at the district’s main hall from 2p.m. According to Jessica Mwiseneza, the president of Gilgal Choir, this launch concert is aimed at telling people that God is able just like the album name Arashoboye.

"We called our album Arashoboye because we wanted to tell people through the songs on this album that God is able and nothing is impossible to him,” says Singa

Singa also hopes that by the end of this album launch, people will take in their hearts a message that; Jesus is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Comprised of 60 people, Gilgal choir is based in the Apostolic Church for Revival in Rwanda and their work is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ through songs.

The gospel concert is expected to bring together Christians in the Southern Province in song and worship.

Out of the 12-song album, 6 songs including Hozana, Ngize Amahirwe, Yesu Niwe, Nduburira Amaso, Ninde Utagushima and Arashoboye will be sang by the choir on Sunday.

Two years after launching its audio, Singa says that the choir is glad to launch their album video which will be showing as they perform that day.

The event will be headlined by singers Janvier Kayitana, Ev. Sugira Stive, Shekinah and Singiza choirs.
