Final preparations for the inaugural Teen Buzz festival are underway. The event will take place on Saturday at Royal Car Wash Gardens in Kimihurura, a Kigali suburb.

Organised by Mariella Kate Alexean, 19, the host of Teens Time show on Royal F.M, the festival seeks to give children a platform to express their talent and abilities in different aspects such as singing, dancing, sports, modeling and other out-door activities. "Teen Buzz is a celebration of creativity and it combines a dazzling array of activities like music, dance competitions, live performances and games,” she says.

Under the theme; "Dancing Competition,” the event will include a variety of entertainment from DJs Chris Ma’king, K-Shot, Kiss, Berto, Toxxyk, Habz and Selekta Copain, who will spin the wheels of steel to keep the children entertained.

The event will be headlined by rapper Bull Dog and R&B singer Pius. The festival will run from 1p.m to 8 p.m.
