Local gospel musicians, Ben Serugo and his wife Chance Mbanza, last Sunday delivered a phenomenal performance at Four Square Gospel Church located in Kimironko.

The evening, dubbed 'No Praise, No Life’, saw the couple belting out song after song to the admiration of the audiences, in three hours of non-stop performance at the concert.

Serugo and Mbanza, who were backed up by a live band, took the audiences through their famous praise and worship tunes like Iteka nzaririmbira Imana, Iyo Karuvari, Byose niyobyarangirirye, and Imana niyo irihejuru yibihe , among others.

Bishop Fidele Masengo, founder of Four Square Church, speaks at the 'No Praise, No Life’concert.

The concert kicked off at 4pm, with Lydia Mutavu and Ronnie as emcees. Gospel music enthusiast, Keira Keza, also entertained with her superb voice, as she poured her heart on stage in Josh Groban’s rendition of You Raise Me Up.

The remarkable singing prowess and performances exhibited by the couple, was enough to let the audience who had thronged the venue for the show conclude that the show was indeed 'mother of all gospel shows' ever staged at the Kimironko-based Church.

Gospel artiste Mbanza entertains revelers at the concert with her terrific voice.

Bishop Fidele Masengo, founder of Four Square Church, expressed how happy he is to see the gospel music taking on a good trend in Kigali. He explained that gospel musicians play a key role in the society to preach the word of God through music. Bishop Masengo offered Rwf300,000 to the couple, as a token of appreciation for their role in the gospel music scene in the country.

Revellers praise the Lord during the concert.
