After being banned for two matches by Rwanda Football Association Disciplinary Committee, AS Kigali goalie Jean Claude Ndoli has admitted that he takes full responsibility for his actions.

In addition to the two-match suspension, the Rwanda international was also fined Rwf100,000 following his outburst and misconduct in his team’s 2-0 league loss against Rayon Sports at Kigali Regional Stadium last month.

"It is my fault and I take full responsibility but I was so angry when I did and said what I said during the heat of that moment, but I have apologized and everything is fine,” the ex-APR FC shot-stopper told Sunday Sport.

He noted that, "What I did is not good especially for someone in my position, who has to be a role model for the younger players and fans. It was a frustrating moment where you can make mistakes but I have to take responsibility. I have accepted the punishment.”

Ndoli is alleged to have accused the referees of taking bias decisions for teams like APR and Rayon Sports

The 30-year old will miss the match against Amagaju on Sunday (today) and against Gicumbi next weekend.

"It’s my first time to be summoned by the FERWAFA Disciplinary committee in my entire career. I was irritated seeing referees not considering fouls committed on our players or they would make decisions against my team,” the former Police FC goalie explained.

After reviewing the case, the disciplinary committee took the decision to have Ndoli suspended for two matches and a pay a fine of Rwf100,000 as stipulated in article 55 of the FERWAFA Disciplinary code.

Article 55; Offense against honour, states that whoever, by any means whatsoever, including gestures, insults, or broadcast messages, offends the honour of an individual, shall be suspended for (a) match(es):

In section two, it further explains that if the victim of the attack is FERWAFA itself or one of its organs or officials, the duration of the suspension will be doubled. In addition, a fine of at least one hundred thousand Rwandan Francs (RWF 100,000) shall be imposed.
