The curtains will come down on Rwanda's biggest gospel show on Sunday.

Come November 13, all roads will lead to Kigali Serena Hotel, as the annual Groove Awards return in yet another highly anticipated edition themed, ‘Come As You Are’, featuring some of the country’s top talents in the gospel musical journey.

The red carpet will be rolled out at 6p.m, and the event will feature performances from several gospel musicians.

The event is organised by Groove Awards Rwanda in partnership with Moriah Entertainment Group, with the aim to honour outstanding performers in the gospel music industry. It also seeks to promote and connect gospel artistes across the region, open doors for upcoming singers, songwriters and musicians, as well as raise the profile of the country’s music industry.

This year, a new category, TV Show of the Year, was added, making it 13 categories and for each category, five names were shortlisted.

The different categories feature several new artistes and it will be interesting to observe how Groove Awards 2016 play out.
