RCA-Development captain John BoscoTuyizere has warned his teammates not to be carried away by their Sunday’s win over the Telugu Royals in the on-going UAEexchange 50-overs premier league at Kicukiro cricket ground.

The young side beat Telugu Royals with a margin of 4 runs in the on-going UAEexchange 50-overs but Tuyizere has asked the team to stay focused and instead improve their playing style.

"We are young, and, therefore, can easily be taken up by this win and relax which can be detrimental to our game plan throughout the season,” he said.

He added that their plan is to replicate their performance in the concluded T20 computer point tourney where they lost to Telugu royals in the final.

"We want to be a force to reckon with in Rwandan cricket and to achieve that you have to face each game head-on, prepare well for all the games and maintain high levels of discipline,” said the 19-year old.

Indeed, the team did not disappoint their founders, putting up the most entertaining game more than any other new entrant in the recently concluded T20 Computer Point tournament, during which they won all their games but the final.

"We are happy that we have defeated Telugu Royals this time around, they ended our run to what could have become a dream finish after a remarkable performance,” he said Tuyizere.

RCA-Development was established this year in May by Rwanda Cricket Association with the aim of nurturing homegrown cricketers.
