Welcoming 2024: Ten places to gather for crossover night

For some, 2023 has been a great year, while for others, it may have been the opposite. But one thing is common, gratitude for the gift of life.

As we bid farewell to 2023 and look forward to welcoming the New Year, for those who wish to end the year in the presence of God during crossover services on December 31, we have compiled a list of ten places to gather.

1. Christian Life Assembly (CLA)

Located in Nyarutarama, CLA will host a New Year’s Eve crossover service on December 31 from 8pm to 12:30am.

The service will include praise, worship, preaching the gospel, and testimonies. Attendants will share their testimonies live in the sanctuary or type and it will be read out.

2. Eagle Vision Evangelical Church, Nyagatare

The church looks forward to organising a crossover service intended to give thanks and praise to God for the protection He provided throughout this year and dedicate 2024 in prayer.

The theme of the service is derived from Judges 13:9 and the service will be hosted by Bishop Josiane Deborah Musoni.

There will be evangelism in songs by Theogene Uwiringiyimana, popularly known as Theo Bosebabireba and Agape Choir. Service is from 8pm to 4am.

3. Kigali Convention Centre

The Women Foundation Ministries and Noble Family Church present a crossover gathering titled "Crowned by your Goodness” led by Apostle Mignone Alice Kabera.

The service that will take place at the Kigali Convention Centre will start at 9pm. Doors will open at 4 pm and close at 7:30 pm.

4. Evangelical Restoration Church, Masoro

Apostle Yoshua Masasu and Apostle Lydia Masasu are organising a crossover service on Sunday, December 31 at their church in Masoro. The service will begin at 9pm-6am. There will be a moment of prayer and meditation one hour before the service.

5. Shekinah Church, Nyakarambi

Goshen Revival Ministries led by preacher Gasana Mutesi is set to organise a fellowship at Shekinah church in Kirehe District.

The crossover night is aimed at providing spiritual guidance and clarity on what the year holds for people. It will be characterised by thanksgiving for this year, and prophecies and prayers for the following year. The service will start from 7pm and go on till 12:30am.

6. Kagarama Nyacyonga church

Abijuru Ministry Rwanda led by Jado Fils will host a crossover night at the church in Kagarama. The service will start from 7pm to 1am and is intended to be a reflection of the last year and glorification of committing next year to God.

7. Christ Kingdom Embassy Church, Kimironko

The church that is led by Pastor Tom and Anitha Gakumba has organised a crossover service titled "The Bridge Night”, starting at 9pm to 6am.

The Kingdom Elevation Choir will usher the congregation into a moment of worship.

8. BK Arena

Authentic Word Ministries/Zion Temple Celebration Centre calls upon the public to join the church in a night of prayer and worship on December 31 at BK Arena.

The church reflects on Psalm 65:11, which says, "You crown the year with your goodness, and your paths drip with abundance.”

9. EAR Remera Anglican Church - St Peter&039;s Parish

The church has organised a crossover service under the theme, "Being the Fragrance of Christ,” which is derived from 2 Corinthians 2:15.

The preacher is Rev. Canon Antoine Rutayisire, who will be hosted by Rev. Emmanuel Karegyesa. Service will start at 7pm-12:00am.

10. New Life Bible Church, Kagarama

Starting 8pm until midnight, the church has prepared a crossover night of prayer, worship and sharing the word of God, reflecting on how 2023 has been, and looking ahead to what is yet to be unveiled in the new year.
