With just four days to the start of the 2016/17 national football league season, Bugesera FC are set to wrap-up the signing of Malian striker, Abudallar Camara.

"It is true we are holding talks with a Malian striker, who we expect to arrive in the country anytime soon to sign the contract,” the club secretary general, Silas Mbonimana said.

The Eastern Provinnce-based club has signed several new players as part of their preparation for the new season, including; forwards Farouk Ruhinda, Bertrand Iradukunda and Bienvenue Mugenzi from APR FC, Police FC left-back Mwemere Ngirinshuti and veteran center back Aimable ‘Mambo’ Rucogoza from Gicumbi FC. During the same period, the club signed former APR and Amavubi assistant coach Vincent Mashami as the new head coach on a one-year contract.
