AS Kigali Coach Eric Nshimiyimana has said the team’s level of confidence has improved after beating Police FC 3-1 in a warm up game ahead of the upcoming national football league which will get underway on October 14.

AS Kigali beat Police 3-1, thanks to Michel Ndahinduka and Emmanuel Crespo Sebanani’s goals while Police got the consolation goal through Japhet Iramurora in a match played on Saturday at Kigali Regional Stadium in Nyamirambo.

"We are trying to make sure that we have the strongest team available before the start of the season, I am happy we are getting more confident. Our focus is to play against lower teams in order to correct our mistakes,” he noted.

The former Rwanda international midfielder said his team has the potential to do better in the league.
