Rwanda’s U-19 national volleyball team captain, Herve Martial Inkoramutima, was named the best server at the just-concluded 2016 Boys’ U-19 African Nations Championships in Kelibia, Tunisia.

National team coach Paul Bitok said: "20 days training on jump services and he went on make more than 10 points in each match. I am proud of our captain, he just needs to continue with the same attitude and he will go places.”

Rwanda finished fourth out of the four teams that took part in the 5-day tournament after failing to register a single win in three matches.

Tunisia booked a ticked to represent Africa in world championships after beating Egypt in the final game.

He singled out the likes of Willclief Dusengimana, Cedrick Kageruka (setter) and Inkoramutima for special praise.
